This week we invite campers to step into the world of filmmaking as they imagine, create, and star in their own movie from start to finish! Throughout the week, campers will work in teams to film their movie Monday through Wednesday, design their own movie props and playbill, enjoy a photo strip station where they’ll create a personalized photo strip bookmark, and experience the collaborative process of acting and production. On Friday, campers will kick back and celebrate their hard work with a movie premiere as each team’s film is projected for the entire camp to watch together in our back room while enjoying popcorn. Each camper will also receive a custom “Gilchrist Art Camp Film Crew” T-shirt, create a ceramic coffee mug inspired by real Hollywood directors   to commemorate their cinematic experience and make their own GAC microphone to use in their own interviews and take home for hours of imaginative play ahead! This camp encourages creativity, confidence, teamwork, and imagination—no prior experience required. We can't wait for you to join us for this memorable week!
